Here are the West coast Custom subs sitting in the boot as you can see they are quite big, i want to get them out of the WCC enclosure and make them smaller, the amp is on the back of the subs and the bottom picture is my yet to be installed 6x9s......
The only other things I'm adding are a Small PS2 and a TFT monitor in each headrest i still need to get a power converter and a video splitter.....
these bad boys match my leather and have a wood grain round the screen to match the wood i have all around the car cost me around £150 of eBay not a great make but if they where Sony or pioneer they would of cost between £300 - £400... and i don't really want to spend that much.......
It all started in November of 2006 when i had decided to purchase a car after riding a Motorbike since i was 16, i had had a accident and messed up my left knee, i had to have surgery, and it left me with a all metal and welded up knee cap i rode for a while and realized i should give it a few years before returning to "all year round riding"..
So i started to look for a big, comfortable and safe car that had a bit of prestige and class, I started to look at BMW's but the insurance was too high, they seemed to common and i realized i could get a Mercedes for cheaper, cheaper insurance and realized i could get more for my money as far as car interiors go in the Mercedes..
So i bought a 1997 Mercedes Benz W202..
I won it in a eBay auction of a very nice guy for £1900 it needs a few things done but i over looked them as it was a lot of car for little money, this list that follows is a list of the things i need changed/repaired/done to my taste
- Re - Painted In "Midnight Black"
- New Drivers Side Wing Mirror
- Boot Doesn't Stay Open Needs New Spring
- Refurbish My Alloy Wheels
- Install A New Wing Mirror Button In center Console
- Soundproofing
Their are a number of little jobs like re gassing the air con, the rear licence plate isn't fitted right, remove the mudflaps and lowering the whole car about 40 mil so the wheels fit nicely in the arches..
Now For a few Photos
Stage 1 (The day I Purchased The Car)
As you can see from this pic the car is sitting to high, the paint is bland and in this particular photo the car is without the 3 pointed Mercedes badge that should sit on the end of the bonnet..
Stage 2 (One job done..but a important one)
I finally got my self a Mercedes badge and fitted it very simple job and it had to be the first thing i did, Mercedes cant be with out its badge it just isn't right.. cost around £6 from eBay..
Thats all for now but i will add some more photos
